West Bengal PSC Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the various posts above the candidate must go through the eligibility conditions and make sure he/she fulfils them with respect to educational qualification, as well as the age limit for WBPSC Recruitment.
- Candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Candidate’s age should be more than 18 years of age. The upper age limit should be 36 years for Group A, B & C, and 39 years for Group D.
- Candidate must have completed graduation or some other equivalent three years’ degree from some recognized institution and must have the ability to read, write, and speak in Bengali if wanted to apply for WBPSC Exam.
Educational Qualification
A degree from a government recognized college and the ability to read and write in Bengali; however, it isn’t required for the applicants having Nepali as a primary language.
Age Limit for WBPSC
The aspirants, who belong from the age group of 21 years and 36 years, can apply for the exam. The age will be tallied from January 1 of the test year. The applicants who have been born on and after January 2, 1984, and before January 1 1, 1999, will be eligible for the exam.
Age relaxation in WBPSC
- There is no age limit for the competitor serving in the Government. The above age limit applies to all the candidates aside from the accompanying:
- On account of Persons with Disabilities (PWD), the upper age limit is relaxable as long as 45 years. S.C./S.T./B.C. Aspirants of different States will be treated as General Category Aspirants.
